Do you Flickr?
Flickr is a huge time suckage site for me.  I think it's my inner voyeur--I love to look at other people's photographs, especially if they tell a story.

Healthy Cupcakes

Today my daughter & I made healthy cupcakes.  She loves to help bake, and these are a better alternative to regular cupcakes:

Healthy Cupcakes (Idea gleaned from HungryGirl)

1 Package Cake Mix (any kind--I've made chocolate before, and today we are using spice cake.  HungryGirl also suggests yellow and lemon cake mix)

1 15 oz can pumpkin (not pie filling, just plain pumpkin)

Mix the pumpkin with the cake mix.  It will be thick, but will come together.

Put into a muffin pan, and bake at 350 for about 17 minutes.

Feel free to frost them.  Today we are using with cream cheese frosting!

P.S. Judging from the AMAZING smell eminating from my oven, these are going to be the go-to treat for the Fall!!!  PumpkinSpicelicious!

Free Nail Polish!

Yay for free!
Annie over at Blogdorf Goodman announced that Zoya nail polish is doing a promotion with several beauty bloggers.  Each blogger has chosen 3 polishes to be given away free with an order. Annie has them listed so you can choose which code to use.

I got the Scrangie trio (code is Scrangie3).  I bought one polish for $6, and got the other 3 for FREE!

This is the last day of the promo, so get your orders in quick!

Zebra

Thanks to Kimberly over at Fab Finds Under $50, I am now enjoying making collages on Polyvore!

The one below is inspired by my dear friend, Erin. She lives in a great little town whose school mascot is a Zebra. Now you know, here in Texas, supporting the team/town is serious business. So everytime I see Zebra, I think of her! We are seeing Zebra quite a bit lately. It looks to be very "in" for Fall.

Here are some precious zebra print items I've seen lately--chic on the cheap:
Handbag $19.50
Top $15.80
Belt $10.99
Flats $13.99
Jacket $12.99
Rainboots $27.99
Backpack $29.99

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy

In a previous post's comments, Ally asked where I found my Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Makeup (SHNB from here on out!).  I bought mine at a local CVS, but people are reporting a lack of availability at most CVS stores.

Today I received an email newsletter from Carmindy, and in it she links the SHNB website!  This is a new website where you can see the product line, as well as purchase it.  It also has a list of stores that carry the line.

Everything I've tried from SHNB has been wonderful---the lip products are next on my list to try.
